A nine-year-old boy wanted to help others and his act of kindness has inspired others to keep it going. Nicholas used a $25 Target gift card to buy food to donate to a food pantry. His mom challenged others on Facebook to match his gift and he’s raised over $13-hundred. (story)


Served Fresh, a NYC health food company, is helping feed hungry hospital workers healthy meals. They deliver free individually packaged meals to hospitals and have given away over 25-thousand so far. They’re also partnering with local restaurants and offering them $5 a meal to provide those meals to hospital staff. (story)



Octavia Spencer is donating respiratory monitors to hospitals in Alabama and New York. The equipment from Miku Care can detect nuanced changes in breathing pattern that are the first signs of COVID-19. The monitors also have two-way talk and video systems. (story)
