A garbageman in Kentucky noticed a 90-year-old woman hadn’t put her trash out in a while, and checked in on her.  It turned out she’d been low on supplies for weeks, and didn’t have any food.  So the sanitation company stepped up and bought her groceries. (story)

A church in Tennessee has given thousands of dollars to local businesses to help keep them afloat. They split $12-thousand, five-hundred between three small businesses. The church also encourages its members to support local businesses by doing Christmas shopping now, buying gift cards and tipping well. (story)
