Good News Wednesday



A nine-year-old British kid with cerebral palsy was inspired by Captain Tom Moore, and wanted to walk for charity.  So he started walking back and forth in front of his house . . . walked the length of a MARATHON in 70 days . . . and raised $100,000. (story)


There’s an engineering student at Georgia Tech, and both of his parents are paramedics.  He’s been helping provide thousands of face masks to hospitals all around the country.  And his team has also built 200 “intubation boxes” that protect doctors and nurses while they put people on ventilators. Two teenagers in Maryland started shopping for their grandparents during the pandemic.  Now they’ve turned it into a nationwide volunteer effort called “Teens Helping Seniors,” with 14 chapters across the country. (story)
