Did you say FREE?

Scrambling to find something fun for your kids to do this summer? Many parents are facing this challenge and it’s tough. But the North Face is here to help save the day. The outdoor clothing and gear brand is offering a two-week virtual summer camp to keep kids busy, entertained and interested in nature. And the best part? It’s totally free!

The North Face Summer Base Camp aims to “safely bring the spirit of the outdoors to kids wherever they are” and will encourage them to “explore the outdoors and spark curiosity and courage to embark on adventure.” It kicks off July 20th and runs through July 31st and will include half-day sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday over the two-week period.

Each day offers a unique interactive activity hosted by The North Face global team athletes, including Academy Award-winning filmmaker, climber and photographer Jimmy Chin, who’s leading an “Adventure Photography” course in Week 1. Other activities include exploring naturally-formed geometric designs with climber Nina Williams and the art of mapmaking with ultrarunner Coree Woltering. You can check out the full schedule on The North Face Summer Base Camp webpage.
