Today’s Good News: You Can Participate In “Citizen Science”



A bunch of parents in Ohio thanked teachers last week . . . AND helped a local business . . . by hiring a food truck to show up at school and serve lunch.


Citizen science” has seen a huge boom this year.  That’s where regular people help scientists gather data and do research.  For example, birdwatching apps have seen a big bump in traffic.  And it’s helping conservationists get a better handle on how many birds there are, and where they hang out.
