A Secret Santa is giving away more than half a million dollars this holiday season and a special education instructor was recently surprised with a gift from him. Kallie has cataracts and didn’t have the money to pay for the surgery she needs to fix her vision. But Secret Santa is making sure she gets the operation she needs to be able to see again.

A 91-year-old Korean War veteran generously donated $2-thousand to Food Lion’s “Holidays Without Hunger” program. His gift is the largest single donation in the food drive’s 17-year-history. The anonymous man told the grocery store manager he spent two years as a prisoner of war and knows what it’s like to not know if or when you’ll get your next meal.

A little boy wanted to spend his eighth birthday giving away pizza to homeless people living in a tent city in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kieng Rivens’ birthday wish was to feed the homeless and his mom happily made it happen. A Papa John’s location donated 75 pizzas to their act of kindness and friends and family joined in to pass out the pies.
