Today’s Good News: Police Put On Their Santa Hats



Police officers in Orlando, Florida, put on their Santa hats to deliver presents to more than 200 kids in need. With holiday events canceled this year, the officers hand-delivered the gifts to the children at their homes. Officer Marcus Hyatt says the kids were thrilled adding, “We’ve seen nothing but smiles.” Source: Fox News


John Hobson has been busy whittling walking sticks to raise money for his local food pantry. The 93-year-old retired Air Force colonel sells them for $3 each and donates all the proceeds. So far in 2020, he’s made more than 100 walking sticks and has given around $650 to the Xenia Area Fish Food Pantry. Source: Sunny Skyz

Some motorcycle clubs are showing their softer side this holiday season. David Trent, aka “Southern Santa,” and his wife, Vicki, get motorcycle clubs from Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas involved to give Christmas gifts to kids in need. This year, they brought presents for 50 kids and gave each of them a bicycle too. Source: KTBS
