USPS mail carrier Shonda Lemon noticed Helen Iwanski hadn’t picked up her mail in three days and she worried something might be wrong with the 89-year-old. She trusted her gut and called the police for a welfare check and it saved the elderly woman. Helen had fallen and couldn’t call for help, so she had been on the floor for days, and thanks to her mail lady, she’s recovering and on the mend. Source: CNN
