Today’s Good News: Teen Donates His “Make-A-Wish” To Help Kids In Hospital


A Texas teen is using his “Make-A-Wish” to help other kids while they’re in the hospital. The student body at Littlefield High School in Lubbock raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation every year, but this year, they pushed even harder when they found out their classmate was on the receiving end. The teen gave up choosing a wish for himself to pay it forward to improve the stay of other young patients at the hospital. Source: KCBD

Volunteers with the Miami Rescue Mission made sure a homeless girl had a Quinceañera fit for a princess. Adriana Palma moved to Miami from Mexico last year and after her father lost his job, she gave up on the special 15th birthday party she was dreaming of. But a team of “fairy godmothers” pulled off the ultimate Parisian pink party for her, with a fuchsia ball gown, a hair and makeup team and plenty of presents. Source: ABC News

Hikers trekking to the top of a mountain in Switzerland were joined by a cat who was lost. The tiny cat followed them, staying with them as they climbed to the 10-thousand foot summit. The hikers cared for her, then passed her to another group of hikers who took her back down the mountain and reunited her with her owners. Source: People
