Today’s Good News: Dad Raises $30K Riding Bicycle For Make-A-Wish

An Indiana Dad recently rode his bicycle across the state to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. John Carreone biked 80 miles and raised $30-thousand for the charity that helped his daughter, who is critically ill. Make-A-Wish sent his family to Disney World when she was 12 and he wanted to give back to help other kids get to have experiences like that. Source: WTHR

The Atlanta Girl Scouts have $3-million in unsold cookies and now something good is being done with them. Leaders in Georgia’s DeKalb County are donating unsold boxes of cookies to families in need. They’re bought 20-thousand boxes of cookies and will be giving them away with their Mother’s Day food distribution care boxes. Source: WSBTV

A man who dined and dashed last year at a restaurant in Alaska came back and paid his bill. Andy Kriner owns Kriner’s Diner and got a letter from the customer explaining what happened.
