Eleanor Love, a medical student at VCU School of Medicine, has founded a service that delivers flowers repurposed from weddings to hospital patients. The Simple Sunflower picks up flowers from venues and creates new bouquets that are delivered to patients at VCU Medical Center. A group of anonymous women are pitching in to help a food bank in Idaho better serve those in need. They call themselves the “Four Amigas” and they’re matching donations to the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket up to $100-thousand. A 10-year-old swimmer found a wedding ring at the bottom of a Florida spring and reunited it with its owner, thanks to social media’s help. Livia Harrison spotted the ring at Madison Blue Spring State Park and her mom posted about it on Facebook.
