The Rescued Food Market is a new grocery store in Vancouver, British Columbia, stocked with surplus foods donated from other area grocers. The store connects shoppers who are in need with food that might otherwise end up being thrown away. A California woman who stepped between an attacker and his victim on a bus is being recognized as a hero by the community. The woman chased the perpetrator off the bus and was also struck by the assailant. A Florida woman won two $2-million lottery jackpots in the same drawing. Susan Fitton of Boca Raton claimed her $4-million prize from the Mega Millions drawing held on September 14th. The odds of her numbers coming in were one in 12,607,306, according to MegaMillions.com. Source: CNN
