OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES FOR
“Guess the Big Game Score”
Here are the official rules for the “Guess the Big Game Score” contest (“Contest”), being conducted by KNCQ Q97, KKXS XS 96.1, KEWB Power 94.7, KESR 107.1 BOB-FM, KHRD Red 103.1, KTHU Thunder 100.7, KBQB 92.7 BOB-FM, KCEZ Power 102.1, KRQR 106.7 Z-Rock, KKCY Country 103.1, KKCYHD2 Power 95.5, KUBA 1600/98.1, and KCCL 101.5 K-HITS (hereafter referred to as “Station”) and its owner Results Radio LLC, starting January 31 2022 and ending 11:59:59PM February 12, 2022.
The Station may change the dates and/or terms, conditions, or rules of the Contest without prior notice. Any material changes to the Contest or its rules will be broadcast and posted on 1071BobFM.com, Red1031.com, Q97country.com, Power94Radio.com, XS961.com, ChicoThunderheads.com, 927BobFM.com, ZRockFM.com, Power1021.com, KKCY.com, Power955.com, KUBAradio.com, and 1015KHITS.com (13 websites collectively hereafter referred to as “Station Website”).
Station Judges will be the sole interpreter of Contest rules. All decisions by the Station Judges will be final. Entry into this Contest constitutes agreement by Entrant to abide by these rules.
By participating, Contestant consents to Station contacting them by telephone, email, or text.
By entering Contest, Contestants agree to indemnify this Station and Results Radio LLC from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from use of the prize or participation in this Contest.
Listeners of the Station online stream may not be able to participate in or be disadvantaged in participating in certain contests due to delays with the streaming of the broadcast signal. The Station is not responsible for technological errors or failures of the phone, text, internet, email, or computer systems.
WHO CAN ENTER (ELIGIBILITY)
Contestants and Finalists who do not meet this Contest’s Eligibility requirements will be disqualified, and ineligible to become the contest winner.
The Contest is open to all US citizens who reside fulltime in the State of California and who are age 18 years or older (“Contestant”).
By entering Contest, Contestants, Semi Finalists, Finalists, and Winners agree to allow use of their entry materials (including submitted image(s), Name, written material, and Voice) in Station on-air, stream, social media, newsletter, website, or other Station publicity platforms.
Current or former employees of Results Radio LLC, their immediate family members (including ex-spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws), individuals legally residing in the same household as current employees, Company affiliates, agents, successors, assignees, any promotional agency involved with this promotion, current employees of other Radio stations in California and their family members, are NOT eligible to participate or win.
Failure to comply with the Rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize. Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, and to disqualify that Contestant from entering or winning future contests.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Contest is void where prohibited by law.
Contestants are required to provide truthful information to the Station on entry and during entire operation of the Contest. Station will disqualify any entry discovered to be based upon false or untruthful information.
To be eligible, Finalist must be able to prove the entry email address provided is valid and theirs, by replying promptly to a confirmation email sent by the Station. If Finalist is unable to validate the email promptly, the entry will be forfeit.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, visit Station Website. Click to the link found on the homepage to go to the contest entry form page. Fully complete the contest entry form including daytime phone number. A valid entry will have all fields completed, including the Contestant’s prediction of the final score of the NFL Championship Game (“Big Game”) on February 13 2022.
Contestant may enter the Contest 1 time per valid email address and more than 1 Contestant may enter per Household. Winning this Contest is: limited to 1 time per Household and limited to 1 time per Contestant.
THE PRIZE
The Prize is: $1,000.00 cash paid in the form of a check in the name of the Winner.
There is one (1) Prize.
Total prize value is $1,000.00
METHOD OF DETERMINING AND CONTACTING FINALIST(s) and WINNER.
Chance of becoming a Finalist depends on the final score of the Big Game. In the event of a tie among 2 or more entries with the same final score prediction, Judges will conduct a random drawing to produce a single Finalist from all entries with the same correct score prediction.
In the event that no Contestant makes a correct final score prediction, Judges will conduct a random drawing from all entries to choose a Finalist.
One (1) Finalist will be drawn at random from the pool.
The odds of winning depend on the number of entries.
Following the random drawing that occurs the week of March 21 2022, Station will contact the Finalist by text or telephone (number entered on Contest form) to confirm eligibility. Finalist must be immediately responsive to Station’s 3 attempts on the week of March 21, or the Prize is forfeit and Station will randomly draw another Finalist, continuing until the Finalist affirms eligibility.
Finalist will become the Winner upon confirmation of their eligibility, signing of required forms, and ability to receive the mobile-only tickets transferred to their Ticketmaster/Live Nation app on a mobile device. If the Finalist fails to accomplish the above criteria within 14 business days, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new Finalist will be drawn at random from all eligible entries.
REDEMPTION OF PRIZE
Winner must appear to present valid, government-issued photo identification and personal social security number together with complete personal residence address, date of birth, and phone number, all such information to exactly match the information as supplied by Contestant’s entry. Winner will sign required affidavits and releases at Station offices or mutually agreed location, or the Prize will be forfeit. Advance appointment at mutually agreed day and time is required. After signing affidavits and releases, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner within 14 days.
Prize cannot be awarded to third parties on behalf of the Winner, or else the Winner forfeits.
Prize is not transferable and may not be substituted for any reason, including but not limited to cancellation or postponement of events, business disruption, or other situations beyond the control of the Station.
Winner will be required to fill out a W-9 form to claim Prize, or else the Winner forfeits. Taxes are not included. Payment of taxes will be the legal responsibility of Winner.
Station offices are closed on Legal Holidays. Prize must be picked up by advance appointment at the offices of Results Radio LLC Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm at:
